TRAVEL INFORMATION

Schefferville, Quebec is located approximately 900 miles north east of Montreal and is accessible by train or plane only.

LABRADOR BY AIR:  The most preferred and expeditious means of travel is to fly.  A charter service, which is dedicated to hunters only, is available out of Montreal, Quebec. The flight is approx. 2 ½ hrs. and reservations must be made through your Outfitter. This is a seasonal operation (August & September only), therefore rates and schedules are not available until May or June. For those traveling by air, please note that your hunt dates are subject to change according to seat availability. Please contact our office for current information on the charter service.

LABRADOR BY RAIL:  The twice weekly train service from Sept-Iles, Quebec to Schefferville is operated by Tshiuetin Rail Transportation Inc. (TRT). Reservations are required and can be made by calling 1-866-962-0988 or (418) 962-5530. Credit cards are accepted. Duration of the trip can be 12-14 hours and smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the train. Please contact our office for current information on rates and schedules.
